Sharon Davison brings over 17 years of experience to the Red Sky. Sharon has extensive project management and marketing skills with expertise in user-centered design which she brings to the projects and teams she manages. She has helped design, develop, launch and manage corporate web sites, product applications, and marketing campaigns for online retailers, construction, gaming and IT companies. With a passion for exploring new technologies and working with customers to bring them to market.
Sharon has a Ph.D. in ergonomics/human factors with a specialty in human-computer interaction (HCI). Sharon's initial research comparing 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional spaces shaped the direction of early consumer products at Microsoft. Sharon is a cutting edge technology evangelist and teaches a graduate design and development course at Seattle University.
After Hours: Sharon is also a fifty-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain and enjoys sailing in Puget Sound. Her latest venture includes getting her motorcycle license and a Harley Davidson.
Noland Angara has over 13 years of program and project management experience, eight of which were with the Platform Products and Services Division at Microsoft. Noland's educational background in Computer Science and diverse work experience as an IT engineer, a software engineer, a Program Manager with Microsoft, Senior Project Manager and Business Consultant with Paperless Business Systems and Inviso Corporation enables him to manage a variety of creative and technical projects.
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, Noland has shipped numerous software applications, from Microsoft's Personal Web Services for Windows 98 to MSN Ads and Search. Noland's ability to see the big picture and still be detail-oriented has earned him a solid reputation for delivering quality products on time and on budget.
After Hours: Noland has a passion for all things aviation- he is an explorer at heart, likes most is to travel to places he has never been after using his random trip generator to make it more fun and a challenge on the selection of the destination.
Rex Houchins has been delivering business solutions for 29 years. His experience encompasses a wide variety of platforms, from large mainframe systems to desktops. As a software designer, developer, and consultant, Rex has worked on a number of applications to help manage construction, accounting, and manufacturing projects, inventory, geographic information systems, telecommunications, healthcare, and insurance.
Rex has a specialty in database design and implementation and has assisted in developing technical solutions for enterprise, mid-market, and small businesses. As Red Sky’s CTO, Rex is responsible for technical site architecture, IT infrastructure design, and managing software engineers.
After Hours: Rex is a fifty-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain and teaches sailing lessons at Seattle Sailing Club. He also leads charters and team building experiences aboard a 42' sailing vessel through Red Sky.
